I think that should be brought back and ❤ could stay.

- I love it! (art, pretty chickens, baby birds, ect.)

❤- Care (I feel your pain, I am there for you, I am so sorry)

People seemed to have pulled out these meanings by themself. I am just putting them side by side. But I do agree that they do seem different and to replace a meaning with a different meaning seems odd.

As far as a reaction emoji the heart can be more universally used but you still have the actual emoji that can be used whenever you want.

I personally enjoy saving a stash of gif emojis so I can more accurately express my feelings! lol
The "heart/love" options are endless!
