plz help gasping duck

i have a 1 year old buff orphington duck and it is gasping for air. it has been about 2 weeks I thought she had something in her throat and am not home often to check on her. she might have been sneezing as well one of them has but could not see which duck it was. i picked her up today with out chasing her which doesnt happen and she seemed much lighter as had not eating im guessing. these are the only symtoms i have noticed. do you have any idea what it could be or what i could do. i cant afford to take her to the vet and being in nj doubt any vets would be good with ducks. Thanks in advance

well went out side to check on her and she moved my the pond so i picked her up to feel for anything again and held her for about 5 min and she died.hopefully she felt better with me holding her
