Poached egg in the shell

I am sure most of you have seen someone frying an egg on the sidewalk to show how hot it is. Well we had a first, my wife gathered the eggs (5) and had them in a plastic bag on the back of the golf cart. She got busy with the garden and forgot about the eggs. They stayed on the golf cart with direct sun for a day and a half. I cracked one this morning and it was poached, all of them were. You know it is hot when you can poach an egg in it's shell.

YIKES!! Reminds one to collect eggs throughout the day in this heat!

Good thing you have lots of shade and ventilation or they would be coming out of the bird that way!
