Point of Lay

My RIRs are 27 weeks - we are in the southern hemisphere and just at the end of autumn - it's still very mild (no frosts yet). Is it likely these hens will come into lay shortly and lay through winter (again mild - frosts but never snow) or is it likely they'll wait till spring? Thanks
 
Our RIR lay better in the winter then they do in the summer, and they even have their molt then too! They should lay just fine as long as they have food, water, and a coop. Ours are
