Is it normal to have a pointy egg after moulting? I've been finding these weird pointy eggs lately. Its the colour of my Wyandotte's eggs, and she has been in the nest box- so I am assuming its her. I have two, and they are the only ones who lay a light tan egg in my coop. They are 2.5 yrs old and took Dec off of laying to moult. Now they are back at it. Ive had 6 pointy eggs over the last 10 days (all of the light tan eggs have been pointy).

Normal?

The only other possibility is that a pullet is finally laying, but most started laying in October.... and that wouldn't explain why the Wyandotte's have been on the nest box....

Did the lay pointy eggs before?
Shape can change but I don't think it's common.
You probably won't know for sure unless you catch them in the act.
