pointy egg theory, it is true?

I heard about a theory , "pointy eggs" is it true?
roosters hatch from pointy eggs?
hens from round eggs?

I have heard this also, but I have never really paid attention to see if it was true. Probably just another old wives tale.

No it is not true. There is absolutely no way to tell sex of a chick by any characteristic of the egg. You're pretty much going to get what you're going to get.
