pointy side up or down.....?

I just got confused, a book said to store eggs for hatching pointy side up, but i thought it was pointy side down? Which is it or doesn't it matter? The air is in the round part of the egg i thought.

Ok good, thats what i thought and was doing, but that book i got said pointy side up. I rather go with the people who know from experience though. Thanks!

the air pocket is in the rounded end so the pointy side goes down to keep it that way just like you said
