I know how you feel. I did the same thing, and I feel awful. My sister bought me a real bator for Christmas so I'm giving it another go. However I've been concerned about keeping stable temps even with the preset bator. Seems my DH is a utility miser and the temps go down to 62 at night and up to all of 69 during the day (until I pass the thermostate and turn it up) Then down at noon to 66 cuz he thinks I should be running my errand then. Yes I married a control freak. But I like seminolewind's idea. My friend has a bunch of that bubble insulation. I think I'll work out something with that to help keep things stable.
