I have alot of poison ivy near my coop and would like to killed it. I am looking for ways to get rid of it that are not harmless to my chickens and they are free ranging any ideas would be apreciated.

Keep it cut down. We had fields of the stuff when we bought our farm. It disappeared with simply mowing it down on a regular basis. Just be careful, if you weed eater it, that it doesn't fly back and get on you.

A swim in a swimming pool with a high level of chlorine and you will not get the rash.
also remember that chlorine is canser causing so be carefull with your swimming pool chlorine level.

I use very diluted bleach in the shower .and then I rince the DILUTED bleach off in the shower .

this should keep you safe and cover yourself with clothing and wash your cloths with some bleach ... then its easier to work cleaning your grounds for your animals

do not burn pioson ivy ..

New egg Just hatched
