Will poison ivy affect chickens and/or chicks? My broody couldn't get the chicks back in the coop this afternoon and decided to nest down in a whole BUNCH of poison ivy.

    Is this a problem?

It won't hurt them at all.
Mine actually cleared an area of it when I had them in a pen.

It will probably bother you tho, if you touch them. Be careful or wear gloves and don't snuggle them.
