Poisonous Azaleas?

Are Azaleas poisonous? I got a little shrub called ‘white surprise’. I didn’t even think about it being toxic until my CL ate two leaves. Is it dangerous or OK to leave where they can get it?

Azaleas are very toxic to chickens. Depending on the amount eaten it can cause intestinal upset, diarrhea, weakness loss of coordination and heart damage. If I were you I would move it where they can't get to it since even the fallen leaves would be poisonous.

If you Google poisonous plants for chickens you will be able to see exactly what they can/can't eat

Azaleas, I believe are poisonous to humans as well. My mom loved azaleas.
