Guys, I'm going on a trip soon... If I catch Scatterbugs and evolve them to Vivillion while I'm on the plane, will they have different wing patterns?!

Beat Valerie today! My mega-evolved Charizard did it all after Frogo (my start. Fun name eh?) fainted from to hits. I'm now stuck in the pokeball factory by the stairs with no way out. Help?
