I just learned how to play poker, and now I'm like my Uncle to cigarettes- ADDICTED! Anyone else play?

I made a thread last week on this!

I play about 30 hours a week and its been my second job for 5 years now.

I also run a website now dealing with some poker stuff too.

What and where are you playing?

Jeff

I've been playing for about 6 years. With so much information out there, it seems like it's got a lot harder to profit in the last year or so. Even the low stakes players have improved greatly.

Yeah, there's so many training sites available, plus software to help you play. And with a good rakeback deal, there's tons of people playing low stakes and making it a living or part time income.

I'm playing lower stakes now then I was 6 years ago, and I'm way better at poker now. Tough way to make an easy living

Playing right now. In a tourney on PS and I'm in the $$$.

Last year I won a poker league that I play in. The grand prize was a seat in the WSOP. Being in the big game was fun but nothing went my way in the game.

I was out before the end of the first day. I was not happy. It hurts when you fold for the first 40 minutes only to get your Aces cracked by 9s. Bye bye 30% of my stack.

I understand you so well. I also learned to play poker under the influence of my uncle. Now I spend my time online on various sites looking for some good poker games for real money. I can't say that I won a lot all the time, but I didn't have big losses.
