So, we have an Easter Egger pullet who was doing just fine until we let all of them outside. She started stumbling saturday, and has continued stumbling. though when she's outside the stumbling gets worse. she's only a little tottery inside, but outside she is like a drunk sailor. My mom is really concerned about her, because she's our first easter egger. She is eating and pooping fine, no mites, but we don't know when she's been wormed last. What do you suggest we do for her? We have no poultry vets in the area, but are willing to try anything to get Thelma better. Could it possibly be from her just getting used to laying? should we supplement more Protien? I already suggested mom try poly-vi-sol, but I'm not sure.
Thanks for any help we can get!!

Any suggestions? She seems to be getting worse. She won't roost anymore and is losing weight. The coordination just isn't there.

Could she be egg bound? Does it seem like she squats randomly? If she does then she might be egg bound

she doesn't seem to squat, just has no coordination. We do have a partial history of Mareks, but it really doesn't look like the same paralysis...
