Hi, I struggle to navigate this website but I was hoping someone could help me figure out how old my two new Poland chicks are and whether they are frizzles or not! I am a first time Poland keeper so I am really not sure! I hope you can help me!!!
Many Thanks,
Alex :)

It's hard to say what there age is but I would guess somewhere around 9 weeks. Your polish look like they are frizzle.

Thank You very Much for your help, I hope that at least one of them is a hen!!

Wow!! Thanks, I would love for them to both be pullets, however one does show a few characteristics of a cock. Larger size and a different vocalisation, but I am not sure!!

The only vocalization that is specific to roosters is crowing. There are lots of different sounds a chicken can make besides clucking.
Polish males get red in the combs and wattles well before the females. They also tend to have 'wild' crests. Pullets tend to have rounder, more even crests.

Wow, Thank You, That is a great relief as we may not have been able to keep a roo!! Lets hope so then!!
