Police: Fair worker watched porn, not chickens

Uh oh.

RALEIGH -- Barry S. Hawley was supposed to be watching the chickens.
Instead, police say, Hawley, 36, was caught this morning sitting in his car, watching porn outside the poultry tent of the N.C. State Fair.

Police charged Hawley, of 9207 Keswick Wood Court, with one count of indecent exposure just after 7 a.m., Jim Sughrue, a Raleigh police spokesman said.

A woman who saw Hawley inside the car watching the movie notified an off-duty police officer working overnight on the fairgrounds, Sughrue said.

Hawley was transported to the Wake County jail and released after posting bond, a Wake magistrate said today.

State Fair officials fired Hawley after his arrest.

"The act definitely deviated from his job responsibilities," Brian Long, a fair spokesman said.​

Got caught? Why was he arrested, fired maybe but indecent exposure? What was the lady doing checking out what he was watching in his car? sounds like she is a peeping tom to me, lets arrest them both.

If you have one of those DVD players with screens and you are showing a 'blue movie' that can be easily seen from the outside, then you can be charged with indecent exposure, or similar crimes.

There was a case here locally where someone was riding down the road and it wasn't Disney movies in the backseat. Many motorists called the police because you could see right into the car and see the movie playing and the driver was pulled over and charged.
