Polish breeders question!!

We have our first polish. I thought I would be able to tell which ones were hens and roosters they just arent as easy as other chickens I guess. How can you tell the difference?

Their crests will be very different. The roosters will have a wild kind of punk rocker look and the hens will have a big rounded poof. Go on Feathersite.com and check it out, they have all different colors. you will see the differences. Hope this helps...i love feathersite!!!!

The cocks have a frazzled top-knot and the hens have a nice neat crest.

Thanks yall that all helps alot. They are 6 weeks old, standards. They are just now getting to where I can try to see what are hens or roosters. They are so cute. I just love the crested breeds.

My golden laced polish are only about 6 weeks old. Some of them look like they have mohawks right now!! Would those be hens or roosters? There are at least 3 like that so I hope hens!!!!
