More info, starting about 4 days ago, she started hanging her head really low when perching. Then, while hanging her head, she started to look like she was preening her belly, but it was more like pecking at the belly and then the box she was perching on. Now, if she tries to perch, she flips over. She walks and runs around just fine, and almost looks normal, but if we pick her up, her head hangs again. It's breaking my heart to see her like this and would like to help if possible. We keep her in a plastic brooder box with heat lamp. There are 7 other chicks in with her. No one else is doing this. I have fine pine shavings as bedding. She is with 2 other polish, 3 silliest and 2 speckled Sussex. They are all about a month old except one of the polish, she is about 6 weeks old . They eat medicated chick food. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you for your time.
