Hello! 3+ mutt chicken (Americana and???) who is post henopausal (hasn't laid for about a month). The past couple of days she is acting.."wonky". She is eating and drinking, the other 3 girls wonder from coop to coop in protected runs, but she is lagging behind by about 5-10 minutes. She spends more time on the ground, strong walk and good energy when she does walk, but she holds her wings out from her body occasionally (even when on the perch). Still putting herself in the coop at night, seems to be steady on the perch. It has been in the 80's, but she has ample areas for shade, and is not panting. I've checked her (and the flock/ coop etc) for mites (all are clean), no sour crop, water belly or impacted egg that I can feel (although I gave her calcium today in addition to the oyster shells that she has always had access to, and plan to water bath her in the morning with epsom salts, as I noted her vent had some greenish poop-probably overkill, but,,,,). Combs are not pale. I've aded electrolytes to their water. All the other girls seem fine. We won't have a vet who knows chickens in our neck of the woods for a few days. Any help most welcomed!!!

When chickens hold their wings out away from their body it means they are directing airflow to cool their body because they are hot. Sometimes they will do open mouth breathing when it's real hot as well.
Greenish poop can mean several things; eating grass, certain severe diseases, or worms. Consider worming your birds with Safeguard liquid goat wormer if you havnt wormed your birds recently.
