I've been reading about polish chickens for showing. But I read somewhere they do great in cold climates and others say they do terrible. What's the lowest temperature they can stand, or is there one? I live in Virginia. Winters here aren't that cold.

They are fine in the winter, being from Poland, they are native or oringinated from a cold climate to start with. but if their head feathers get long enough to get wet when getting a drink they could get iced up some. So might watch and have to trim them if that be the case this winter. Cold is always better for chickens than the heat.
