polish chicken question

Check out Houdans. From what I hear they are less flighty than the polish, and much better layers

We have plenty of layers.. plus our spring order will be getting a couple other prolific layers... What i want is some prettiness to breed into our flock

The decision in yours! Polish are indeed my favorite breed, because as well as being adorably funky, they also have lots of personality!
Mine are not free-range, they are kept in a run, and are let out for supervised range time- that is because I'm paranoid.
You may find that your ranging situation is better, or if chicken math truly strikes, you could make a separate coop and run, just for your pretty birds!

Just a suggestion, houdans look a lot like polish, both are great eye candy. Want my golden laced? She's for sale! Lol

LOL... Gonna hafta have a look at houdan and im not big on seperating them... If they cant free range with everyone else id just feel bad
