I am interested in the Polish breed. I have a couple of questions...

1:Are they good for a backyard flock?
2oes a hatchery quality polish lay pretty well?
3:How large do they get?
4:Can anyone show pictures of their Polish that they got from a hatchery

What kind of chicken is the second one from the left in the last picture? I have two that look exactly like that.

Are all chickens with poofy feathers on the tops of their heads polish or polish x? I have several with poofies, but not not as outrageous as yours.

OEGB-- old english game bantam.

NO- there are several crested breeds. I don't know them all...but I think:

Polish
Silkies
Showgirls
Crevecours
brabanters (I think have little crests)
