Polish chickens have hatched

Hello lads and lassies.

Just thought I would share with you my latest hatch.
I had 20 Polish eggs (8 silver and 12 Golden)
in the bator for the last 21 days.

Went to bed last night and 2 chicks had hatched.

Woke up this morning to a bit of a panic.

The bator was full of chicks. It looked a bit tight in there, as they were quite big chicks

Some of them were upside down as they were trapped between the dividing wire.

I had to rush in there and get them into my brooder.

Luckily enough the brooder was nice and hot as there were some quail chicks in there which hatched 4 days ago.

So to date I have 11 Polish chicks hatched with 9 to go.

Very happy with the result as I had never seen Polish chickens before only in pictures.

Hoolie........CONGRATS!! Sounds like you had a great hatch! Now, dont tease us, you KNOW we want pics!! LOL

Those little pom pom heads are so cute when they first hatch aren't they?
I really like Polish chickens. I miss mine.

Have taken pic's to show you's, but having a bit of a problem uploading them, but i will do so before the day is done.

I also have 2 silkies in another brooder now 3 weeks old and 3 Black/Red Araucana also 3 weeks old.

Oooh yes, pictures please! I love my Polish- such pretty birds. I'd love to see newly hatched pics!

Still trying to get pic's on to computer.

Anyway, now have 13 polish chicks, 2 more hatched over night.

Will be trying to get the pic's on line as soon as.

Here are my 2, 3 weeks old silkies in another brooder, and 3 Black/Red Araucana also 3 weeks old.

And last of all are 7 quail that i stuck in the battor with the polish chickens, they are 4 days old.

Here is a pic of the parents of the Gold Laced Frizzle Polish Bantam chicks.

And the SILVER LACED POLISH BANTAM CHICKS.

I dont know wich ones i like best, but i think i only have 3 or 4 silver ones and the other 10 are the Gold Laced .
