so i have some questions about the new babies i just got (2 Polish day olds).
1. is this breed easily handled or do they tend to be flighty?
2. i was told that clipping the crest feathers occasionally will help with visibility?..
3. the chicks i bought are called standard but they were delivered with bantams, like silkies OEGBs, d'uccles, banty brahmas, banty cochins and a few more. the order form said standard polish, does that mean i bought full sized chickies?
thanks for all the help!!!

I have one hen that is the sweetest girl. I call her Polish Friend. My other one is flighty. My roos don't want to be touched, but haven't been messed with much. I gave one to Karanleaf and he's really tame.
You can trim the ends of the feathers but don't go to far down or they will bleed.
They will be reg size but still a little smaller than your larger breeds.

Good luck!
