Polish cockerel - trim feathers?

A sizzle has frizzle and silkie feathering. So, they are furry and stick out the wrong way!

He certainly looks like a Polish Silkie mix. And very fancy! I hope mine turn out that good looking

Oh! After some digging I found this from breeder — Polish Frizzle x silkie

so I guess he’s a mutt? Lol

Maybe it is different in the US than the UK. But the link I posted is a US site so who knows! I suspect people just make up new names for mixes, like with the cockerpoos etc. I heard satin for the first time yesterday! Its not a proper recognised breed, but hey, it probably doesn't matter!
