Polish Crested stopped laying eggs.

I have a 9 month old Polish Crested pullet. She started laying in January and I got about 7 or 8 eggs from her then nothing. I left one in the coop with her to see if she'd lay in the same spot (she wouldn't lay in the her box). I suspect she ate that one. I haven't gotten another egg from her in probably 6 weeks. I've moved her to different coops and put a fake egg in with her to deter her eating them. I've found no evidence of her eating her eggs (no shells or wet spots on the floor). Right now she's in a coop has 2 layers of hardware cloth spaced about 2 inches apart as a floor to let poop fall through and still I've seen nothing that would suggest she's eating her eggs. Any suggestions as to what might be going on? Ideas on what to do??

Chickens hate change. Even something as simple as feed change or moving to a new coop can disrupt the laying cycle. Are you certain that something (think rat or snake) is not eating her eggs ?

Well, I found egg shell in the bottom of her coop today. I guess she's an egg eater. What to do now?
