Polish feathers

I have two polish chickens who are both orange and black. They just started laying in the last few months and about a month before they started laying a few feathers on both of their heads turned white. It isn't the whole feather just the end really. I am wondering if this is a sign of anything bad or it could just be a little weirdness in their coloring?

It's just a common defect in hatchery Polish coloring. As they get older and especially as they molt it will increase more and more. It's nothing to worry about though, really.
