So I never had polish chicks before so this is a new one for me. The eggs I bought said the polish could be smooth or frizzle. Could this one be a frizzle? The feathers are wierd looking to me compared to the other sizzle mixes I have that were with this one.

Yep definitely a frizzle. I hatched some bantam Cochins about a week and a half ago. So far only 3 have frizzled the others are smooth. Frizzle feathers curve outwards towards the head and you will usually see them frizzling in the wings first.

So all my sizzles are smooth then

The first one looks like it has a slight surl but I am not sure whether it is the way you are holding it. The last too look smooth though. You will have to keep an eye on the feathering like I am with one of my frizzle Cochins now. It is like it is smooth but has the feathers of a frizzle if that makes sense. Keep us posted in a couple of days and we can see if they are frizzling :)

Okay :) either way I'm just hoping for these 4 to be hens. Although the polish is already acting like a rooster.. being so mean to the others
