Polish Frizzles

you aint kidding! we try to handle ours as much as possible
I handle ours as much as possible as well. He really likes sitting on my lap. He even does the wing dance trying to mate my boots. He is 3 years old, so the wing dance does not intimidate me. If he were to be aggressive, I would have seen it by now :) He is a big oaf! Check this video out (not my rooster). Is it not hilarious!? lol

Silkiemama28, I just purchased Bantam Silkies (3) do they need to have around their eyes trimmed? Can they see ok? What a dumb question, I feel the same way about English Sheep dogs, hahaha. Just wondering, really.

You could, but you don't have to. They figure out how to live with very limited vision. I have a hen that pecks the air until she reaches food. It all depends on what you are raising them for. Do you want to show? If not, then go ahead and trim. Remember to be slow and not hack away without thinking about how stupid they will look. Want to see my first 'hair' cut?

Just don't do what I did

This is a 'before' picture. Poor Carl... Oh and he was acting like he couldn't see, so that's why I did it. Turns out he was just stupid. Very well known connection between stupidity and the polish breed :gig
