We noticed a week or so ago some missing feathers on our Polish hats head... there was no bleeding, just missing feathers and redness. I picked up some Blue Kote and sprayed his head... it seemed to get better and feathers start to grow back and coverr the balb spot.
Today we jsut went out and checked on them and we found her half bald, with feathers plucked and some bleeding. So we took her in and cleaned her up, applied Blue Kote again and put in thier old indoor cage.
What should we do? Do we keep her in the house till healed? I heard keeping indoors sometimes can affect pecking order and make it worse.. but she already seems to be at bottom...
Forgot to add: 1 Polish Hat, 1 Buff Orpington, 1 Barred Rock, 1 Rhode Island Red and 1 Brahmas. They are all about 8 weeks old.
Any advice?
