Polish, male or female... 4 weeks old

Is it too early to tell at this age, or can you tell at all by their crests? This first one started developing the crest a few days sooner than the second photo. So, I'm not sure if that has any indicator in the visual aspect of how the crest falls or not.

Looks like a girl so far. They change so much so it could be a boy, but I'm guessing pullet

First one is probably a pullet, but I'm leaning more towards cockerel on the bird in the second photo.

thanks! I do have a third as well, but it has a scissor beak, and its crest isn't coming in well at all.
