Polish new du

This is my sweet Wanda. The first time I noticed her running into the fence and not able to find her way around, I trimmed her crest, but, It looked awful. This time I am using a small rubber band that she hates and the other girls are pecking at her now. I still had to trim the hair around her eyes. I am not sure why all the sudden the other birds don't like her new du. They may be trying to get the rubber band out for her. I will have to find a different way to handle her top crest. Will try the surgical tape idea. Thanks for any thoughts on this matter.
