The crests on Polish males & females are very different. That's clearly a cockerel.

Rooster. The crests are different. Spikey crests like yours are roosters. Rounded "bouffant" do's are female.

You can tell by the shape of the crest on Polish, a hen's crest will be compact and ball-like, sitting nicely on her head like a 'bob' haircut...a rooster looks like he got in a fight with a weed whacker
