Polish rooster & Cochin hen

Can my Polish rooster fertilize my Cochin hens eggs?
Probably a stupid question but I still have to ask!

I did not even know that the Polish was a rooster until today. They are both 21 weeks (about). How long before I need to worry about eggs? Do you know?
