Here's my only Polish chick. I would have liked a better pictures, but he/she is very skiddish and shy of me. Can anyone verify the sex? I vote pullet. Thanks.

Okay so I'm getting some more Polish today yet I still have problems on guess sexing.

I'm wanting pullets so should I look for, large rounded crests, Delicate legs and????

They're only 4 days old but I'm going to try to do my best.

Edited- Just saw how big it's legs were so I changed my vote xD

I bought my polish chick as a day old, maybe 2, based on the roundness of the crest. In this case, it didn't work....and I was soooo sure I it had to be a pullet. Could it be possible some strains or lines can be sexed this way, others not?

the crest sexing seems to work better on SQ polish. if its from a hatchery it is harder to tell

My chick was probably hatched from hatchery birds, by a 'breeder'. It was not purchased directly from a hatchery. Wish I had known. I thought I had an inside track picking myself a pullet. HA!
