I would wait one more day if I saw any signs of hope. . . Otherwise, hard to break it to you, but shipped Polish eggs don't give the greatest odds like other breeds. If there's some breeds to be a little more cautious of with shipped eggs, it's Polish, Araucanas, and, . . . Well that's my experience so far. Most other breeds in my experience give average to great hatch rates.

What happens when you cross a Tolbunt and GL Polish?

What color are the offspring?

You get a bird that kind of looks like Tolbunt, but not quite.

They're often less mottled, much less or no white on them, and sometimes lighter in color than the original Tolbunt parent. But, they're still a great way to improve Tolbunts.

And speaking of which. . . Here's my two boys and their girls.

Green Acres Poultry. The only one you could acquire Tolbunts from, really.

Though they're not the best quality with the crest size, they're Tolbunts, and I'm bent on breeding them to be perfect, both color and body.

Hello everyone!! I was wondering if anyone had a pair of young polish for sale around Southern Wisconsin. My sister has loved them from the minute she saw them and now that I'm getting into the poultry and she's old enough to take care of them I would like to get two for her. The only requirement is that they must be born on or after January first of this year so they can be her 4-H project for the fair. Let me know!!!
