I would love to know what there trying to use because a true Crele is a BBR (Black Breasted Red) / Barred cross. The last I checked there was no BBR Polish.
The other cross is not a true Crele and is like there using with the Cochins and it is a Partridge/ Barred cross.. But I don't think there is a Partridge Polish, Is there?

Yeah there's Partridge Polish. . . Just really rare.

Then that could work, just wouldnt be a true Crele.. It would be more a Barred Partridge..

Where have you seen or heard of those at?
I have never heard of them in polish, not even on the club site, would love to get my hands on some though

Thanks, that must be a new one they've added, I have completely over looked it, must be a European bird though to be called partridge, here thats a bb red, which yes would help make the creles the way they should be, very nice!!

When I first got this little guy/gal, it's crest's down seemed greyish in color. I assumed it was a white crested black polish until I found an actual wcB and reallized how far off I was. So now I have an actual wcB and a buff laced....and no idea what this first guy is. I have looked through pictures of polish chicks and can't find anything that quite fits it. This pic was taken at about 2 weeks old. I'll take more pics in the morning because now he's about 4 weeks. I'm hoping to figure out what color to expect. The feathers coming in on his crest are completely black. His wing feathers are all black except just one or two bright white primary feathers on each wing. You can see them a little in this pic. He's still got down on his chest/abdomen and it's a very light grey - almost white.....any ideas?

Yes, take more pictures. I am interested to see if he has changed any.
