Ditto. I love bearded LF Whites, they're one of the very few white birds I actually like, but they're not common at all.

I get my whites from a friend, but they are bantams.

They are super expensive ,but worth it though, they carrie the (silver white gene) & are consistant winners.

I will try to see if I can find some old pics

That's something I honestly don't get. . . . White as a color is usually pretty easy to work with and win with, yet why is it in Polish they're so rare, and instead it is always the WCB to take the crown? Is there a common fault with Whites that I don't know of?

Has anyone tried the whites from Ideal or Duance Urch? Urch is still a bit too rich for my blood since I'm not an exhibitor, but I would like to see pictures of white Polish from Ideal. I'm placing an order before too long. I prefer bearded, but other than that my standards aren't very high, just don't want them to be TOO ugly!

I don't know what ideals Polish look like, but I could see them having definite faults. Probably not the size crests they should have and type isn't great with hatchery birds. If you aren't looking to show or breed, I'd say go for it if they are what you really want.

My mistake. I just looked and realized the white polish are actually through Welp/Privett, not Ideal. Boo. Looks like I will have to do two hatchery orders, since Welp doesn't have the Spitzhaubens and Brabanters I want. At least both have the Houdans and Orloffs!
