Ok, so some of you have assured me that my rooster is a good flock master (thank you for that!). Another question: why will my rooster avoid me like the plague, "play" with my dog, and full out attack my husband?

Yeah for some reason, if my dog is on the "upper yard" (my yard has 3 levels since we live on a hill), he'll casually make his way up there and harass her for a while, then go back down.

For some reason, he has decided your husband is a threat. Can you figure out why? My cockerel seems upset by the color blue (what's up with that???), so maybe yours has some trigger that your husband activates.

Hmmmm...facial hair? The fact that he's 6'2" and 250 pounds? His baseball hat? Part of me thinks it's his size and Goose (my rooster) is just showing him who's boss.
