Political bumper stickers. Good idea or bad idea?

If you wanted to do it then you wouldn't be asking,

I am not big on stickers. I use to have one that said "welcome to the south now go home" an another that said "Yankees 1, Rebels 0, Halftime" but for the most part I don't see the point of stickers... No one reads them...

Now my battle flag flying off the back of my truck an my AR 15 in the back window, people see an comment on that..

Do people get offended? Maybe? No one has ever said anything bad...

Some one did key my truck once but I am pretty sure I know what that was about.. I laughed my head off about that though. My trucks are always covered in tree scratches so it was probably there for weeks before I even saw it.

People are to worried about fitting in now a days. To many people suppressing who they are so they dont offend or so they don't get noticed.. Ta heck with that. Life is to short for that.

yea, rebel, I am one of those sheep. I do not want to offend, and I keep my mouth shut when I am offended. I guess every one I know thinks that my opinion is an opinion and their opinion is a fact, therefore they want to convince me that I am wrong. It is just easier and quicker to get on with life if I keep my mouth shut ...and grind my teeth in my sleep.

I guess the best reason for bumper stickers is to keep your bumper on, but duct tape works well for that.

Sorry, have to disagree with you there.

"Hello, my name is Rachel, and I'm a compulsive reader"

(chorus...."Hi, Rachel")

I read everything! Bumper stickers, plates, those things keep me sane driving, when there's nothing else to read. If you see a dirty Corolla tailgaiting you, you've probably got a small print bumper sticker I'm trying to read!

I got no teeth to grind so I have to stand out. Much more fun anyway..

Love the question "why?"

"What are those huge antennas for?"

"Why is your truck tool box at the tailgate an not by the cab?"

"Why do you have lanterns hanging off your roll bars?"

"Is that a hammock in the bed of your truck?"

"Why do you have a gun on you"

"How in the........"

Every where I go, people notice me an remember me. Everyone may not know me by name but everyone around knows me at least as "that guy"

I am with you Rachel. I am a very compulsive reader. I read cereal boxes, the junk on fast food bags and anything else with words on it. I love reading bumper stickers and sometimes get a bit close if the print is small. I have never been offended by one, though I do wonder about some peoples intelligence.
