Poll: Do your chickens like the rain?

They tolerate the rain enough to sprint from their house to the barn if I'm offering treats. The polish look so dorky when they get wet. It's like a wet mop flopped on their heads.

Mine free range and I have noticed they come home when it rains. They will go hang out in their covered run till it quits, or in my garage, or under the truck...so I guess the answer is no, they don't.

Depends on the breed. All my gals and boys free range, and it rains a LOT out here, but there are some breeds, like Wyandottes and Araucanas, who don'y mind it one bit. Others, like Ameraucanas and Marans, seem to keep inside.

They don't mind it, but I can't say they like it. Same goes for snow and ice. If it's daytime my chickens are out.

mine are silkies and there always out in the rain

I am curious how my girls will do! The last time it rained here they were too young to be out in it, but now they are all outside. Rain season is approaching! I wonder how they will do..
