I just want to say that if any of you women who don't wear makeup or keep your hair stylish, i.e., have no interest in making nature even better, if ANY of you have ANY hope of my ever marrying you, forget it. My son is not a man yet, only 14, however, this post caught his eye as I was scrolling through, so just thought I would post his answer for him.

He said he prefers girls that do not wear makeup, and some girls in his school wear way to much make-up and make their eyes look like a cat he said.

I agree. If I didn't love him, I would just use my mental ignore button on him.

I cast a "without" vote. Personal choice though I do wear makeup, very lightly. No foundation or powder, I wash my face and keep my skin moisturized so I don't feel I need the caked on cover-up.

I only will put on make up about once a week. Other than that a light tan on my clean skin works for me, and I feel good about how I look.

What my barn looks like day to day is of no matter, but if I had a huge event planed for the property of course I'd spiff the place up first, and the barn might get painted. However I'm still very practical and I'd pick natural looking finish, not try to make it look like something it was not.

I wear make-up for special occasions where it matters and just to enhance what's there. Every day I wear a moisturizer that has some sun screen to it.
