I never thought of that. I have a lap top and wireless internet through my desk top in my office, I wonder if the connection would reach all the way out to my chicken yard. I'll have to try that.

Although I can type pretty well, when I'm with my chickens I prefer the "hunt and peck" method.

How do you get poop off of a keyboard?

I usually just sit outside the coop and watch, but last night I had Chicken Matthews, my injured, one-winged chicken, in my lap in my office and she jumped up on the keyboard and that's the first thing I thought about!​

EDIT: Two stray messsages for MayberrySaint:
1. I'm sorry I got your Presidential election thread closed a couple of weeks ago. I knew I was pushing it and I should have shut up, because I was enjoying reading everyone's opinions. Maybe we need a section for the rabble-rousers who actually like a good blood-boiling debate - those who don't like confrontation don't need to look!
2. I watched the most adorable thing about the Saints the other day - they had a 5 year old kid who had been through a heart transplant come to "mini-camp" to spend the day with them. Those guys were so sweet with that little boy and his brother. Too cute! Drew Brees was just wonderful. I love the Steelers, but I'll have more fondness in my heart for your team this year!
