As adorable as that would be, idk if they’d appreciate itI'm working on some designs for Ronas hat.
If you'll measure around their heads I could make some for them too

This is how I have my cage set up. It's a bit sparse on toys, but I have some on order since I had to get bird supplies anyway for my new finch cage. They really love that platform swing in the corner. I had such a hard time finding swings that didn't have that awful sandpaper material on it.
I’ll get a picture real quick. One sec. I do have a few different sizes or whatever but could probably use moreAlso, what's the rest of your setup like? Do you have varied perching surfaces, etc? Natural branches are much better than perches with a consistent diameter like rope or dowel, which can cause bumblefoot.
Replacing it depends on whether they have enough perches or not. Those toys look pretty good! Bells can be dangerous but I personally haven't had any issues with it. Whether you leave the mirror in is your choice, but other bird people would probably crucify you for that, lol. Thanks for all the tips! I’ll take the perch out. Do you think I should replace it or leave it out? I just found I have another one I had forgotten about but idk if I should put it in or not?
They do actually have some other toys in there but they never use them anymore.maybe it’s time to switch them out or put some of the old ones back in. They might be bored I think.
This is what’s in there now and then I also have these other ones I can put in. They seemed kind of scared of the big grassy thing when I had it in there, didn’t care about the rings, and the bridge they used to use all the time but then stopped and it was in the way for dancing hahah I might move it to a different spot though. And maybe get some different toys.
For the mirror, I thankfully haven’t noticed any issues with him and he seems extremely happy with it so I hate to get rid of itif it’s bad though I will but he doesn’t really tend to use it very much anyway. He goes in front of it typically once or twice a day and has singing sessions.
he’ll go and chatter and sing and dance and everything in front of it but he flies around the cage too, doesn’t just stay in front of it, he’ll go from there to the top, and seems so happy
I’ll watch him carefully though and take it out if I spot any issues but so far he doesn’t seem to be a mirror addict or psycho

Yes, this. They get bored just like humans do! They like (limited) novelty and things to explore.maybe it’s time to switch them out or put some of the old ones back in. They might be bored I think.
I think they do but they do seem to use/like that one a lot too so idk. And yeah, I’m not sure why they’re not using them anymoreReplacing it depends on whether they have enough perches or not. Those toys look pretty good! Bells can be dangerous but I personally haven't had any issues with it. Whether you leave the mirror in is your choice, but other bird people would probably crucify you for that, lol.It definitely makes them happy, just like an all-seed diet, but it's not the most psychologically beneficial thing out there. Like letting a kid play video games all day.
Variety is probably the main thing. I'd try getting a few new toys and switching them out. My birds took a while, but they figured out that they love sitting on their stick bridge! They weren't using it at first. Moving them around the cage can help keep them fresher too. Some birds appreciate food-based toys, like balls or pipes with holes that you can stick millet or seeds in for them to remove.I think they do but they do seem to use/like that one a lot too so idk. And yeah, I’m not sure why they’re not using them anymoremaybe they’re just bored? And thanks! That makes sense! I feel bad now hahah although he seems to think of it as just another toy rather than an obsession, maybe because he has a friend? Idk.
Hey cool, I'm part of that club, too.You must be talking to Mare because I'm part of the no butt club.
No, it doesn't make sense. They had OIL on them.Well, the yolk itself was hard but the whites were wet from the olive oil I think. Like they weren’t raw but had grease on them if that makes sense?
