What breed was your loudest roo? My neighbors live about 1,000 feet from our house and we hear their silkie roo ALL.THE.TIME

Oldest? I eat the roos by the time they are 3 or so.

Did you ever have a roo who didn't crow? Breed? No. My brahma roo didn't crow until over 6 months old though...... And he did so very infrequently.

I agree with an earlier statement. I have a oeg bantam and he barely has all his feathers and it is hard to make it out but he will poke that chest out and raise his head and is cocky as my older chicken. I have seramas and they are not as loud nor crow as much as my sultans.
