Poll: what type of cookware do you use?

Ditto what hencackle said about not stirring too often.

I always just let my pan cool and soak it for a few minutes in the sink when I'm washing the dishes and whatever's stuck usually comes right off. I use a non-scratch scouring pad. I never put my good frying pans into the dishwasher. I think it removes the seasoning.

Cast Iron here!

I scramble eggs in my cast iron skillets, and don't have a problem with them sticking. Of course, mine are VERY OLD and Very Well-Seasoned.

I use cast iron for everything.
I really like the look of the new enamel coated cast iron. I may have to ask for some for my birthday this summer.

Cast Iron here. Used to be a cook, and LOVE cast over anything else. It's healthy for you and doesn't have the problems associated with teflon and aluminum. I love my little cast egg pan

I have a mostly stainless, some cast iron, regular and enameled, the new non stick (not teflon) but my favorite is my all clad, stainless with aluminium core (really even heat)

Keep it clean and oiled.

Make sure it is hot before you cook in it.

Never scrub it with a scrubber or abrasive cleanser. Wipe it clean and rinse with hot water. Dry it completely. Oil it lightly and store it away.

Don't use dish detergent on it if you can possibly help it.

Use it. Alot. and Often.
