I vote for the Genesis but also have gotten good results from home made, and just bought a Rcom mini, so we shall see how that goes

I have the Brinsea octagon 40, which is double the size of the 20. I got it about 7 years ago I think. Still works perfectly. I also have 2 1588's and love those too. The last incubator I have is a hovabator 1602n which i've had for a few years but now only use it to hatch in since I can't get the temp above 98-99 degrees.

Both mine where special made by hand by me with love and care. I only sacrificed 2 fuses when the making of them.

LOL well...... well...... take a look at all those the folks that voted for the most fantastic incubator ever built to here them tell it. For all the people who are totaly in love with the Chinese junk LG, and nobody and I mean not 1 person voted for it, and they sell more of them than the others combined. Perhaps that might put an end to all of the worthless LG problem threads LOL. Just sayin is all.

I hate LG with a passion. I got mine last winter and it killed 60 chicks just 3 weeks ago. It leaks so I had to use fiberglass boat paint, the thermostat went out and killed chicks, then the light went crazy and started flickering really fast and it finally went out so I had to replace that. Now I gutted it and put some decent parts in it and it works great. I give myself the credit for fixing it and not miller/LG. I put a universal incubator thermostat on it and then made a middle section so the heating element is higher up. Now I have a good incubator. I can't call it a home made, but all of the parts except for the foam is mine.
