poor feet and nails need attention. She is so pretty though.
Thanks, she is our prettiest and friendliest bird. We've soaked her feet in the epsom salt bath and covered her legs in vaseline, to smother any mites that might be there. We trimmed her nails, but only a little, because I read in an article here on BYC that I have to trim them gradually day by day, giving the quick time to recede so I don't accidentally cut the quick.

She seems to be walking a bit more comfortably now, but I don't really see any noticeable difference in her feet after her spa. She's always had feet like that, since the day we got her when we were new and inexperienced. I really don't know what to think. :idunno

How much water should we add!
I think that one is ~5 ml (one teaspoon) per quart.

8 ounces = 237 ml
237 ml / 12.5 gallons = 18.96 ml per gallon (round up to 20 ml per gallon or 5 ml per quart)
