Poly vi sol

I don't live near town and I don't have any vitamin E here at the house. Do you think it will be OK until tomorrow afternoon when I get home?
Depends how long she's been without, and whether lack of vitamin E is actually the problem (It's one of the main reasons for skygazing, but it's not the only reason. The top reason is thaimine deficiency, but there should be plenty of that in the poly-vi-sol). It should be fine, but I'd try to get it into her as soon as you get home tomorrow.

Good luck with her.

Make sure you get Polyvisol (NO IRON) forumula. I wouldn't waste it in the water, if she doesn't drink enough it's wasted.

Use an eye dropper and put it in the side of her mouth, so if she wants to fight it, she canpush it out instead of - possibly aspirating it into her lungs.

Polyvisol without iron is okay to use in chicks—2-3 drops by mouth daily, but it is expensive. At most feed stores they sell Poultry NutriDrench for about $6. It has most of the vitamins and minerals they need for star gazing or wry neck—vitamin B1 (thiamine) and E. Dosage is 1 ml daily for up to a 3 pound chicken. Just give a couple of drops. Sometimes wry neck or stargazing there needs to be more E given, and you can buy vitamin E 400 IU in small amounts in Walmart vitamin aisle. Give one opened capsule daily in wet food.
