Honestly, PolyViSol is a bit pricey to be adding to the waterer. You can get the same effect with Poultry Drench/NutriDrench, which are vitamins meant to be added to the water. If you are using PolyViSol (without iron) it is usually given to each bird individually. You can use as much as you want, as often as you want because it is all water soluble vitamins. Any excess is flushed out by the kidneys. If you overdose a bird on PolyViSol what you get is expensive poop and/or diarrhea.

Depending on what you are treating for the dosing is usually 3 drops per day per bird. You can give it once a day or twice a day. If you are giving too much the bird's stools will become looser than they should be.
